I created Calming Hobbies as a supportive space for women like me: neurodivergent women navigating the twists and turns of menopause (& trauma), who are ready to heal from within, feel truly seen, and reconnect with their inner strength.
My own path, from processing childhood trauma to finding balance during peri-menopause, has taught me so much about resilience, self-compassion, and the small things that bring joy. Through videos, articles, books, and of course, hobbies, I’m here to share what’s helped me, so you can discover what helps you, too.
I had already developed strategies to navigate my neurodivergent brain, but peri-menopause brought new challenges that added layers to my growth. It wasn't until I supported a friend in her journey did I recognise my own neurodivergence.
And now, after a lifetime of suppression, I’m motivated to be a voice for women who feel misunderstood and overlooked. Sharing my journey is a way to support others, honour my inner child, and continue my own healing.
You don’t need to go through this alone. Find support and guidance as you navigate through your own trauma, and find ways to relieve stress and find peace as you fumble through menopause.
